The web interface is designed to give employees and supervisors' access to employee clockings, employee hours, reports, shift rostering and leave information for the employee or for the supervisors’ group of employees, via an internet browser.
Approve or decline leave requested by an employee in the supervisor's group.
Approve or decline daily hours requested by an employee in the supervisor's group.
Place an employee in the supervisor's group, on a new rostered shift or change a rostered shift.
Update employee masterfile details.
Print selected reports for an employee or group of employees who fall within the supervisor's group.
Add a new employee.
What the Employee Can Do
An employee can clock in and out via the web interface.
An employee can add daily hours for a day or days. These hours will always have a pending status until being approved or not approved by the supervisors.
They can print selected reports for them selves.
Apply for leave for them selves.
View daily roster information.
Browser Support
Eco Time's web interface supports Internet Explorer 9 and higher, FireFox, Chrome, Opera and Safari. Eco Time Web also runs on most mobile web clients, although Eco Time's Web interface is not scaled for small mobile screens. Typically it will fit nicely on a 9 inch or larger tablet. Eco Time Web uses Java Script, so your browser settings must have support for this enabled. Eco Time Web regularly updates the scripts and styles to stay current with the latest browser requirements and will warn you to update your browser cache to the latest styles and scripts, but if you are unsure, you can force the reload of the scripts and styles by pressing Ctrl F5 from the browser.
