Using Eco Time Web Interface

This page is based on the web interface as in TNA 6.03.

Accessing Eco Time's Web Interface

To access the user Web Interface pages, proceed as follows:
  1. In the user machine where the user allowed pages are to be viewed, open the standard web browser.
  2. In the address box type in the IP address then a colon followed by the port number or the name of the computer on which the Eco Time Web Server is running (i.e. htpp://computer name or  htpp://IP address:port number). After entering the server address in your browse the Eco Time Web login page will appear:

3. Enter your login name and password and then select Ok. The Single Day View page will then be displayed.

4. If you have forgotten you login name and/or password, click on I forgot my login details.

5. Your login and password will be emailed to you provided that the login or password you have entered are in the Eco Time database.

The Start-up Page

This page presents a snapshot of your available options as well as today's clocking and calculated hours' information for the logged in employee.

The picture above shows the view if a web administrator who is also a supervisor is logged in.

Link Select Options

The following links are found in the left-side panels and provide the following options:

View a list of the employees you supervise.  From this list you can select an employee for whom you can can view, change or edit employee details, clockings, hours, errors, warnings, charge rates, cards, leave and daily shift rostering.
View and manage all the errors for the employees you supervise.
View, add, change and remove your employees' daily roster entries.
View, add, change and remove your employees' clockings.
View, add, change and remove your or your employees' leave.
View, add and remove your employees' daily hours.
View, add and remove your employees' payroll hours.
Print selected reports to which you have been granted access to in Eco Time's Configuration module.
View all the warnings for the employees you supervise.  You can excuse warnings where applicable.
You can clock In or Out via the Web interface. Also view the selected employee's clockings, daily hours, payroll hours and warnings.
View or edit the selected employee's clockings, daily hours, payroll hours, warnings for a pay period.
Manage the selected employee's daily rostering.
View, add and remove cards for the selected employee.
View, add, change or remove entries in the selected employee's payroll shift history.
Manage the selected employee's charge rates.
View the selected employee's details.
Change your web interface password.
Schedule a re-process of employee hours for a selected period.
Add a new entry in the payroll shift history for a group of employees.
Add daily overtime authorisations for a group of employees.
 
Manage security user groups for the web interface.  Visible only to a web administrator.
 
Manage web interface users.  Visible only to a web administrator.
 
Manage menu access for users and groups. Visible only to a web administrator.
Type Options

When viewing pages with clockings and/or hours information you will see two to four buttons in the top right-hand corner of the page.

These buttons allows you to show/hide different types of clockings and hours. The types are:
