This range can be overridden. The first part of the equation is knowing the maximum number of instances. This defaults to 4, but can be overriden in the checks.tps under the CSTime heading, for example:
[CSTime]
MaxInstances=6
MaxInstances must normally be increased when multiple users access Eco Time through a RDP connection or Terminal Servers hosted on one server.
Next you can override the starting port of the Server module. This defaults to 17850. This can be overridden in the INI file:
[CSTime]
NetAutoPort = 18000
Using the above examples, the port range would now change to:
18000 - 18005 (UDP)
18006 - 18011 (TCP)
By changing NetAutoPort you are able to suppress the server updates, which are displayed in the User Module's splash screen, across a LAN. This setting is useful for support who might have more than one server module running on different workstations for testing and configuration purposes.
